Christine, (ARC at DCC: April 5, 2008 ) I took the level 1 ARC class on 4/5/08 and had a great day. You and your instructors did an excellent job teaching to all the levels of experience (and egos) in the class. Everyone that attended I am sure enjoyed each other and the class. Motorcycles attract such nice people as you know. I just had a track day yesterday and I had an awesome experience. My lap times were dramatically reduced and my level of safety and confidence significantly increased! Thank You, your coaches, and Lee Parks for getting me to slow down to learn the basics. I am anxious to take level 2, unfortunately it is full this year. By the way, there is no way my knee pucks will last the season. How cool is that!
Best wishes, Bill Logue

To Christine & Michael, (TC ARC at DCC: April 27, 2008) I had the pleasure of being in your ARC Level 1, at Dutchess County Community College on April 27,2008. For someone like me, who only 2 years ago was shown where the controls are and let loose on the unsuspecting public, this was a great experience. I received validation for what I’ve been doing right (but I wasn’t sure of), learned many new things, and noticed a couple of bad habits which must be changed. Through the exercises I leaned the bike over more than I ever have before, and started getting comfortable getting out of the seat and hanging off. When you get it right it feels as if the bike is turning itself – pure joy. Its not exactly time for knee pucks, but in the future…. More importantly, I learned to self-evaluate my riding, and the techniques required to improve my riding. It’s one thing to be an expert rider, and a different matter to be a good teacher. All of the instructors yesterday were both. Christos Mousiadis – Bayside, NY Kawi Z750s

Christine, (ARC at DCC: September 14, 2008) What can I say? Sundays ARC at DCC class on 9/14 was…wet…HOT…HUMID…
and more fun than any group of people should have! (LEGALLY!!) Instruction was AWESOME! Thank you to PAT, Emile, Brian and of course to you Christine and Mike. In one day my riding improved exponentially. Both technically as well as confidence wise. When my son takes the class next spring I will be there again but this time with my Knee on the Ground screaming WOOOOHOOOOOOOO! Tom Drugan – “NYX” – 08 Yamaha R6S

Christine, I have to share this with you because your mother has been such an important part in my “motorcycle” life. As you know your mom taught me how to ride back in 1990. I had some great classes with her. All throughout my time in the club I’ve looked up to your mom as an example of what women can do. I knew that your mom had been President of Lost Wheels and that helped me make my decision to run for the Presidency. Now I have been honored by the members of Lost Wheels. Last night they gave me the “Diana Marafioti Award” for my service to the club. It’s an award that’s never been given before. I was totally blown away when Dan made the presentation and even more honored when your mom’s name was given to the award. Pat MacGregor – President, Lost Wheels Motorcycle Club, NY

Christine, Attached please find the picture the “Jersey Boys” took of us on Saturday. (Ha Ha !!) I wanted to “Thank You” for the class I believe that I gained a lot of valuable knowledge that I can use to work on my skills. I am really glad I took the course even though I was very nervous about not having any riding time under my belt. I also wanted to let you and your team know I think you guys rock !!! I wish you guys were closer so we could ride together. I might end up looking into a couple of “private” lessons a little further down the road. I can’t wait to take level two (maybe by next year,) right now I have so much to work on as it is! Even just from the ride back to central Jersey I can tell I was riding a lot better and being more comfortable and fluid with my adjustments. So thanks once again! Kimberley – one of the “Jersey Girls”

Hi Christine, I wanted to thank you and your staff this weekend for a great time! I was your new rider, with 1 year of experience on the Honda CBR 600RR this Saturday. I had a great time practicing the drill. I had a question which I forgot to ask regarding purchasing new tires. You pointed out that the tires have the month and date that they were made by the manufacturer. In good conditions (temperature controlled by the seller), what is the maximum age we should be purchasing these tires before they start getting hard? 1 year or less? (2 years for a Sportbike) I would also like to thank Romy. I wasn’t great with all of the drills, but with practice I was getting better. Romy was patient and pointed out what I was doing wrong and helped me by offering suggestions of what I should be doing. One suggestion was, since the time to get to the circle was short, he said, why don’t you start the bike in 2nd gear, so there is one less thing you have to do by the time you get to the turning point. Regarding the drills, tt wasn’t until the figure 8 where the lightswitch came on and it started to click. Romy did a great thing before the drill, he came to everyone and gave them one thing that we should be doing. For me, he said, “ride the bike with authority. Don’t let it take you for a ride, you put the bike where you want to.” That’s all it took. I was hanging off my bike like I never have before and was feeling more relaxed and more comfortable. I didn’t drag knee, but I feel with more practice, and when the time warrants it, I’ll be there. On the ride home, I felt the improvement. I felt more confident on my bike. I’m glad I took this class, the summer will help me practice what I learned. Thanks again, and I’ll see you next year! Harry

Christine, Just want to thank you again for a great session this past Sunday. Lee is an outstanding instructor and the support crew with you, Emily, and Ed could not have been better in motivating and assisting during the exercises. The class size of 20 was just right for a balanced practice session. Any more would have been too long in the tooth for waiting during the class exercises. I hope you enjoyed a well deserved day off on Monday but I get the felling you can’t really stand still for too long. I look forward to attending future classes at your site. Tony Celini–BMW K1200s
