This is a great honor bestowed upon those in the motorcyclist community that have contributed to the rich tradition and heritage of motorcycling in America.
Christine is a 4th generation woman rider who is continuing this tradition. Her mother and role model, Diana Marafioti, was called the ‘Mother Therese of Motorcycling’. Christine follows in her mother’s tracks, with her commitment to supporting, caring and advocating for the rights of motorcyclists across America.
Her passion and dedication is to improving safety and elevating the sport through continuing education and positive leadership.
Christine’s 12-year-old daughter, Amber, also took the lead to rally the community and initiated this nomination process.

I have known Christine for more then 20 years and currently teach the Lee Park’s Total Control – Advanced Riding Clinics with her at Dutchess Community College, here in New York. As a friend & colleague of both her and her mother Diana Marafioti, I am very aware of their family history as it relates to motorcycling. My association with them began in 1990, when I joined the Lost Wheels (a 100% AMA Club), and learned Diana was a past president. I am now an 8 year past president of this organization, and still an active member. Together they represent a family of women motorcyclists who have been riding for 5 generations, totaling a full 100 years having started back in 1913. That said it is not only the longevity of this family tradition, but the accomplishments that Christine & her Mother Diana have contributed to the world of motorcycling that really count. Their efforts to offer quality training to all who have looked to them, no matter what the skill level, is a testament to their commitment to improving the sport. Much (and I do mean Much) more information is easily available on the web. I suggest Goggling Christine &/or her mother Diana. One can also go to http://www.ckskickstart.com/ for more information. I truly believe they deserve the recognition for all they have done, and continue to do and I am proud to nominate them both for membership in the Hall of Fame.
